Assam CM launches Booth Vijay Abhiyan in Agartala

Agartala: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday launched ‘Booth Vijay Abhiyan’, a campaign with the grass-root level workers for BJP in the Bordowali constituency represented by CM Dr Manik Saha in the city as part of the organizational preparation for upcoming assembly elections to be held in February.

Sarma arrived here on Monday morning and held a meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence over breakfast. Thereafter, he visited Bordowali area and interacted with the local workers followed by addressing an organizational meeting at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan along with Chief Minister Dr Saha, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee and other leaders.

He also held meetings with the party’s organizational team including state election in-charge Mahendra Sharma, the party’s national spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra and others where the preparation for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week was discussed.
