Ranchi: Newly elected Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Legislature party leader Champai Soren on Thursday said he is awaiting the invite from Raj Bhavan to form the government.
Soren said he enjoys the support of 47 MLAs in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly.
” Raj Bhavan should wake up from slumber, ” Soren quipped.
He said, ” For more than 15 hours we have been awaiting the invite to form the government. Whereas in other states, oaths are administered within two hours of the claim. ”
“We submitted a letter of support from 43 MLAs to the Governor last night, but now we have the support of 47 MLAs, ” he stated.
