Washington: Biden pleaded not guilty to nine tax crime charges in a US court in Los Angeles, NBC News reported
Biden pleaded not guilty during an arraignment with US District Judge Mark Scarsi, the report said on Thursday.
In December, prosecutors charged Biden for allegedly spending money on an “extravagant lifestyle” instead of paying federal taxes. Prosecutors allege that Biden avoided paying at least $1.4 million in federal taxes over the course of four years.
The charges come alongside federal tax and firearms charges in Delaware, to which he pleaded not guilty in October.
