Vijayawada: In a significant political development, the BJP leadership has offered NDA convener post to Telugu Desam Party National President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
According to TDP sources here on Tuesday, BJP AP election in-charge Sidharth Nath Singh met Naidu at his residence and conveyed the party leadership’s message of offering the NDA convener post to him.
The TDP Chief told Singh that he would discuss the matter with the party senior leaders and inform his decision within 48 hours, the sources said.
It may be mentioned here that the Naidu led TDP-BJP-JSP alliance has won 23 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
