Hamirpur (HP): The sitting MLA and BJP candidate from Hamirpur Assembly Constituency Narendra Thakur has intensified his campaign after filing his nomination papers. While the Congress is still lagging behind in choosing its candidate, the BJP has completely entered the electoral fray. Since filing his nomination papers last Friday, Narendra Thakur has started visiting the booths without wasting any time being active.

He started his election campaign on Saturday by offering prayers at Mahakaleshwar and Gasota Mahadev temples in Chamned. On Sunday, Narendra Thakur went to Chamned, Rohlvin, Jivin, Thana Lohar, and other villages of Chamned, Pandher, and Bafrin panchayats and sought public support in his favour.

Narendra Thakur, while holding fast meetings, demanded the support of the public for himself at many places in Dhaned and Changar gram panchayats.

Narendra Thakur said the BJP government was sure to be formed in Himachal Pradesh. He said development is a continuous process, but the development that has taken place during the tenure of the BJP is historic.

He claimed that in the Hamirpur assembly constituency, the state government has set new dimensions of development this time. All the BJP candidates will go among the public for these development works and surely the people of Himachal Pradesh will give their majority this time to the development model of the BJP.
