BRS formation programme held at TRS Bhavan in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A day after Election Commission of India (ECI) formally accepted to change the name of Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharat Rashtra Samithi, a formation programme of BRS was held in TRS Bhavan here on Friday.

In this connection, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao paid tributes to the statue of ‘Telangana Thalli’, mother goddess for the people of the state.

KCR has signed the official letter sent by the ECI recognizing as BRS at 1.20 pm.

He also hoisted the BRS flag.

Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, his brother and JD(S) MLA H D Revanna, film actor Prakash Raj, farmers association leaders from various states are among others who participated in the programme.
