Now, in the USA, the youth who had grown up using smartphones are getting attracted to the forgotten and old cameras. As smartphones have become something which all of them have grown up with, and have become a common affair, now, they are using digital cameras from their childhood, as old as 15 years, in order to capture the special moments during a party or celebrations.

It will not be startling anymore if a high-school student is seen using a digital camera to click photographs, instead of using their smartphones. The photos which get clicked using these cameras seem pretty old, which is another factor exciting the children. The youth are of the opinion that smartphones are unable to stir excitement because everybody is habitual of using them. But if there is some other gadget in their hands to click photographs, it becomes far more fun and exciting.

Now, the youth are looking out for the old stuff which was owned by their parents, and as digital cameras have also been modernized now, the youth are going to second-hand markets and are buying vintage cameras. As compared to 2021, the search for digital cameras has gone up by 10% on eBay.

As per PEW Research, 36% of the teenagers in the USA are of the opinion that they are now bored of giving a lot of time to social media, and need a break from their smartphones. They added that the smartphone snatched away cameras and many other gadgets from their hands.
