CBI raids residence of Rabri Devi, quizzes her in land for job scam

Patna: In a fresh operation relating to alleged land for job scam in Railways during tenure of RJD chief Lalu Prasad as Railway Minister, CBI on Monday conducted raid at the residence of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi.

Sources said here that CBI sleuths reached at 10 circular residence of Rabri Devi and started raid there.

Rabri and her elder son Tej Pratap Yadav, a Minister in Nitish cabinet, were present at the residence when CBI started conducting raid while Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav had left for attending ongoing budget session of Bihar Legislature.

” CBI appears to be quizzing Rabri Devi in this case”, sources said adding that Tej Pratap Yadav, however, also left the residence to attend ongoing session of Bihar legislative.

Rabri Devi, her son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and daughter Misa Bharti had earlier received
summons to appear before CBI special court in New Delhi.

As it is, a case relating to land for job scam was been registered earlier which occurred during the regime of UPA government at the Centre when RJD chief Lalu Prasad was there.

Raids were also conducted at locations of Lalu Prasad earlier in connection with scam.
