CCB police arrest 5 suspected terrorists planning blast in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru police have arrested five suspected terrorists for allegedly planning a blast in Bengaluru, according to police.

Several documents and explosive materials have been recovered from them. According to sources, the five accused had created a meticulous plan for a blast in Bengaluru.

The accused, who are imprisoned, for a murder case in 2017 before coming in contact with terrorists, the police said.

The accused are lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.

The accused have been identified as Syed Sohail, Umar, Junaid, Mudasir and Jahid.
