The closing ceremony of the vocational training programs, aimed at empowering women through skill development, was held today, at the Govt Boys High School, Shuhama. The programme was organized jointly by the 13 Bn SSB, Dignibal, and SEEKs NGO, marking the culmination of a transformative initiative.
The initiative included two vocational training programs. Firstly, 24 women received handicrafts training at the Bakura Community Hall from September 17, 2024, to December 15, 2024. Secondly, 40 women received cutting and tailoring training at the Bakura Community Hall and Khalmulla from September 30, 2024, to December 28, 2024.
The training programs aimed to enhance skills, promote self-reliance, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for women in the region.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Commandant, 13 Bn SSB Dignibal, Mukesh Singh Yadav, who applauded the participants for their dedication and determination. Village mukhiyas, dignitaries, Media persons (Print/Electronic) and representatives from the SEEKs NGO also attended the event, offering their support and encouragement.
In his address, the Commandant, Mukesh Singh Yadav, emphasized the significance of empowering women through skill development, stating, ‘These training programs are a testament to the resilience and potential of the women in our community. Their enthusiasm and commitment to building a brighter future is truly inspiring.’
Certificates of participation were distributed to all trainees in recognition to their hard work and achievements. The trainees expressed their gratitude to 13th Bn SSB, Dignibal, for providing them with this life-changing platform.
