CM announce Rs 10L each to the heirs of the deceased scavengers in Parbhani

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday expressed grief over the incident in Parbhani district and has directed the heirs of the deceased to pay Rs 10 lakh each through the scheme of the social justice department of the state government.

Five labours were died and one was critical injured while they are cleaning Safety tank at Bhaucha Tanda near Sonpeth city in district last night.

Mr Shinde also directed to provide all necessary medical treatment to the worker injured in this accident at the expense of the government.

Injured labour has been admitted to the Government Hospital in Ambajogai in critical condition.

As soon as the Chief Minister came to know about this incident, he instructed the administration to provide necessary assistance immediately.
