Congress appoints additional observers for K’taka

New Delhi: The Congress on Tuesday appointed additional observers for Karnataka ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.

The additional observers for Bangalore city and Assembly level have been appointed by the party president, as per a communique issued by Congress general secretary in-charge Organisation KC Venugopal on Tuesday.

The appointed additional observers includes K Suresh, AK Yadav and Nadeem Javed.

Elections to the 224 member Karnataka Assembly will be held on May 10. The results will be declared on May 13.

The Opposition Congress is eyeing to return to power. The BJP is hopeful that it will retain power.
