Delhi liquor scam: CPI demands live telecast of CBI probe on Kavitha

Tirupati: Communist Party of India (CPI) National secretary Dr K Narayana has demanded that the ongoing CBI enquiry on TRS MLC Sunday in connection with Delhi liquor scam should be live telecast.

In a press statement here on Sunday, the CPI leader said the Centre and BJP should do a live telecast of the probe to prove that its abuse of central agencies like IT, ED and CBI on opposition parties was not politically motivated as alleged .

He said with live coverage of the enquiry on TRS leader in alleged Delhi liqour scam, the Modi government could absolve itself all charges for misuse of office if any.

Kavita, daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and hence people should know actual happenings at the probe or else later both CBI and Kavita hand over their own version.

He said when hearings by the Supreme Court are done live why not CBI probes . Without live disclosures people are taken for a ride by both parties , he said .
