First COVID-19 community transmission case in Goa: Vishwajit Rane

Vasco: The Green Zone Goa has reported its first COVID-19 community transmission cases. 

This was revealed by Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. 

A fisherman family and a doctor found COVID-19 positive. Mangor Hill-Vasco records first three community transmission cases, patients have no travel history, expressed Rane. 

The District Administrations has commenced containment. Mangor Hill has been cordoned off as a containment zone, Rane further added.

Goa has 77 positive COVID-19 cases. Out of which 27 are active cases as off this morning. The numbers are expected to increase post the community transmission reported at Mangor Hill.
