Prayagraj: Foreign devotees were seen fully immersed in the vibrant colours of Indian culture as they took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam on the sacred occasion of Basant Panchami on Monday.

Joining their Indian counterparts in deep spiritual devotion, they not only participated in the divine snan but also extended a warm welcome to fellow pilgrims.

Adopting Indian traditions with enthusiasm, these international visitors described their Maha Kumbh experience as unique and unforgettable.

A devotee from Italy said, “I took a holy dip just a few minutes ago, and it feels like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. People have waited for this moment for 144 years, and I feel truly blessed to be witness to it. This has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The kindness and warmth of the people here have been overwhelming.”

Andro, a visitor from Croatia, who took a dip in the Sangam with his wife, described the experience as divine. “This is truly a wonderful experience. The atmosphere of Mahakumbh is beyond words. The arrangements and facilities here are outstanding,” he said.

Avigel from Austria was equally mesmerised. “This is unbelievable and extraordinary. A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Through this, I have started to understand the soul of India. I have never witnessed anything like this before,” she said.

Another devotee from Italy echoed the same emotions, stating, “This is my first time experiencing something so grand. I have travelled all the way from Italy, and I feel immensely happy. This is the biggest and most unforgettable experience of my life.”
