China has still not learnt its lesson despite falling flat on its face after trying to encroach the Tawang sector in Arunachal Pradesh. Merely 155 KMs away from the LAC, in its captured part of Tibet’s Shigatse airbase, China has gathered drones and fighter aircrafts. It has been revealed by the USA’s Defense Ministry Pentagon’s Press Secretary, Patrick Rider, that China is constantly increasing its military infrastructure near the LAC. Rider added that China is also augmenting inciting activities on the Indian border, and stated that the USA will always side with its strategic ally, India.

On the other hand, White House Spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, has said that the USA is keeping an eye on the issue of the clash between India and China on the LAC. In balanced words, she said that the Indian attempts to maintain peace are welcome.

Back at home, on Wednesday, the Congress and the TMC walked out of the Lok Sabha with a demand to debate the issue of the clash with China on the LAC. On the same topic, 17 opposition parties walked out of the Rajya Sabha as well.
