Goa reaches 192 positive COVID-19 cases

Panjim: From a relatively low number of seven positive COVID-19 cases in Goa for over a month, the numbers of cases in the state continue to surge. The reported positive COVID-19 cases on June 5, 2020 is 192. Out the reported 192 cases, 135 cases are active cases and 57 have recovered from COVID-19.

“26 more COVID- 19 positive cases reported today, Goa’s active cases reach 135, only 10 symptomatic cases, rest all asymptomatic,” expressed the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant.

He further revealed, “4 more passengers from Dubai flight tested positive and  a total 96 cases have been reported at Mongor hill-Vasco alone.”

While Goa continues to remain a Green Zone, many Goans are feeling insecure over the sudden spike in cases.
