Goa reports 40 positive COVID-19 cases today

Panjim: The Green Zone state of Goa that had reportedly beat the coronavirus pandemic is seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases. 40 positive COVID-19 cases were reported today.

32 cases were from Goa’s only community transmission locality – Mangor Hill, Vasco. 8 cases were of those people who entered Goa from other states.

“The total active cases in Goa is 109,” revealed Goa Health Secretary Nila Mohanon.

Goa has now reported 166 cases of COVID-19 positive patients out of which 109 are active and 57 have recovered till date.
