Hideout busted in Poonch, IED, explosives found in Poonch

Jammu: Security forces on Thursday busted a hideout and found an improvised explosive devices and other explosives in Mendhar belt of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said that acting on specific information, joint team of police and army launched search operation in Lower Kasbalari area of Mendhar.

“During searches by joint teams along with sniffer dog, suspected IED and other explosive material was detected, which was later destroyed by Bomb Disposal Squad safely,” they said.
