IT raids on premises of liquor baron Deep Malhotra

Faridkot: Income Tax department on Thursday conducted raids on premises of liquor baron and former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Deep Malhotra, sources said.

The raids began around 0730 hrs. at the residence and office premises and were being continued at the time of filing this report.

Officials, so far, have not divulge any details.

Earlier, in October last year the Enforcement Directorate had conducted raids on two premises linked to Malhotra in connection with its money laundering probe into Delhi government’s excise policy.
