Yet again, a Hindu temple in Canada’s Ontario province has been attacked, and anti-India slogans were written on the walls of the temple by the culprits. This incident took place at around 12 AM on Wednesday, in the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple situated in Ontario’s Windsor.

The High Commission of India in Canada and the Ministry of External Affairs have condemned the attack. The official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi said that we have asked Canada to take strict action against the culprits of this crime, and steps should be taken so that such incidents are not repeated in the future.

The police have found a CCTV footage of the incident, which shows two suspects writing slogans on a temple wall. Windsor police have started investigating the matter and is looking for the culprits. This is the fifth attack on a Hindu temple in Canada after July 2022. Earlier to this, Brampton’s Gauri Shankar Temple was attacked in January 2023, and anti-India slogans were written on the temple walls.
