Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has held a phone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, discussing the Iran-U.S. nuclear talks and the latest status of bilateral relations.

During the conversation, Araghchi briefed Abdelatty on the fourth round of the indirect talks between Iran and the United States, which was held in the Omani capital Muscat on Sunday and centered on Tehran’s nuclear program and the removal of Washington’s sanctions, according to the statement.

The latest round of Iran-U.S. talks follows the previous three sessions mediated by Oman — two in Muscat on April 12 and 26 and one in Italy’s Rome on April 19.
