Tehran: An Iranian military adviser was killed in an Israeli attack in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut, Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.

Milad Bidy was killed in the Israeli attack on a building in Dahieh suburbs where Hezbollah’s top military commander, Fouad Shokor, was staying, the report said.

It added Bidy had been stationed near Shokor’s building, and the delay in announcing his death was due to initial uncertainty about his identity.

On Tuesday evening, an Israeli drone fired three missiles near Hezbollah’s Shura Council in the Dahieh suburbs, resulting in the deaths of Shokor and five others, while 74 people were injured.
