Beirut: An Israeli airstrike hit a multistory apartment block in the southern Beirut suburb of Jnah on Wednesday, causing massive damage, an eyewitness told Sputnik.
“The missile hit an apartment in an apartment block in Jnah. The entire floor exploded,” the eyewitness said.
Lebanese media reported that an Israeli jet launched a high-precision strike at what was presumably the location of an Islamic Resistance commander.
Since October 1, Israel has been conducting a ground operation against Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon while continuing airstrikes.
