Moscow: Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has admitted on Monday for the first time that Israel was behind the assassination of Palestinian movement Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
“We will strike (the Houthis’) strategic infrastructure and decapitate its leaders. Just as we did to Haniyeh, (Hamas leader Yahya) Sinwar, and (Hezbollah chief Hassan) Nasrallah, in Tehran, Gaza, and Lebanon — we will do in Hodeidah and Sanaa,” Katz said, as quoted by the Times of Israel newspaper.
