Srinagar: At least 19 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured, two of them seriously, after their vehicle skidded off the road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday, officials said.
The CRPF vehicle skidded off the road near Police Station Pakherpora Khaigam in Budgam district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in 19 injuries, two of them critically.
The injured were shifted to nearby Charar-e-Sharief hospital for treatment, where nine of them have been shifted to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
Soon after the accident, a rescue operation was launched to evacuate the injured to the nearby health facility, they said.
