JKOA official meets IOA Chief PT Usha brief her on J&K’ sports scenario

Jammu: Former International wrestler and General Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association, Dushyant Sharma met Indian Olympic Association president P T Usha and Joint Secretary and CEO Kalyan Chaubey in the national capital.

The JKOA official briefed the chair about the present sports scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

Notably, former Legendary Indian Sprinter, P T Usha is the first Woman President of Indian Olympic Association.

Sharma met the officials during the General Body Meeting of Indian Olympic Association at New Delhi wherein he distributed the Souvenir of 36th National Games held at Gujarat 2023 to members of Executive Committee of Indian Olympic Association (IOA), members of various Federations and State Olympic Associations present in the meeting.

Sharma discussed with about the working of J&K Olympic Association, also gave a brief note about the activities of JKOA and recently held Felicitation Ceremony of J&K Medal Winners in 36th National Games 2022 besides releasing the Souvenir of 36th National Games, held at Gujarat 2022 to the IOA Chief.

She, however, appreciated the efforts of J&K Olympic Association. Sharma later also briefed Chaubey about activities of J&K Olympic Association and the overall sports scenario of Jammu and Kashmir.
