Warangal (Telangana): G Kishan Reddy, the newly appointed Telangana BJP President and Union Tourism and Culture Minister, called upon the people of Warangal on Friday to actively contribute to making Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming public meeting, scheduled for July 8, a resounding success.

Talking to the media, Reddy, who inspected the preparations at S V Arts College grounds here, revealed that PM Modi would perform Bhumi Pooja for the establishment of a Railway Manufacturing Unit and National Highways worth Rs 6,100 crore.

Expressing the Modi government’s unwavering commitment to Telangana’s development, welfare, and infrastructure, Reddy emphasised the need for an accessible administration.

Dispelling any claims of previous meetings between BRS and the BJP, Reddy cautioned the public against believing false propaganda disseminated by other parties.

He highlighted past alliances between Congress and BRS, stressing that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) had voiced support for the Congress party during the presidential election. However, he deemed both parties insignificant.

Reddy emphasised that only the BJP could put an end to family rule and ensure fair governance, referring to Congress members who joined the BRS party after Congress secured 18 seats in the past.

Reddy praised the diligent efforts of the Modi government over the past nine years and pledged to deliver good governance for Telangana.

Regarding the development of Warangal, Reddy stated that the Central government had approved a textile park for the district, demonstrating the active involvement of the Modi government.

He also highlighted the capabilities of the train manufacturing industry in Kazipet, which can produce a wide range of components, including train engines, waggons, and coaches.

Reddy underlined the BJP government’s prioritisation of Warangal Airport’s development and clarified that it was not the party’s responsibility to arrest MLC Ms Kavitha, who alleged involvement in liquor scams, emphasising that such actions fell under the jurisdiction of the CBI. He criticised KCR’s government, labelling it corrupt.

Promising an administration free from nepotism and hereditary practises in Telangana, Reddy revealed that he and his officials had corresponded with the state government regarding the location of Mamunur Airport.

He affirmed that Warangal Airport would be the top priority once the BJP government assumed power in Telangana, as the party actively promotes air travel.

Earlier, Reddy offered prayers to Goddess Bhadrakali in Warangal.
