Hyderabad: G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Tourism & Culture and President of Telangana’s BJP unit, emphasised the importance of discipline and dedication among newly appointed candidates, urging them to protect the nation’s integrity and unity.
Addressing the 8th National Rose Gar Mela, Minister Kishan Reddy stressed, “Work with discipline and dedication to safeguard the country’s integrity and unity.”
He was the chief guest at the event held at the CISF Auditorium, Hakimpet, where he presented appointment letters to 323 individuals who secured Central Government positions, including roles within CISF, CRPF, ITBP, and SSB.
Commending the recipients of the appointment letters during the Rozgar Mela, Reddy extended his heartfelt congratulations and also acknowledged the role of their parents.
He recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address from the Red Fort the previous August, where the Prime Minister had highlighted the existence of various conspiracies. Reddy affirmed that despite these challenges, India’s rich culture, traditions, and arts remained unchanged.
Reddy reiterated that the nation’s integrity was preserved by the strong sense of national identity inherent in Indians and their determination to contribute to the nation’s protection.
Directing his words to the newly appointed candidates, Reddy emphasised that they were engaging in national service and dedicating themselves to upholding the country’s integrity. He encouraged them to work with unwavering dedication from that day onward.
Reddy praised the remarkable progress India had achieved in the fields of science and technology, noting that the country now stood on par with nations like the United States. He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi aimed to rejuvenate India’s former glory by empowering the youth and leveraging their potential.
The Minister reiterated Modi’s vision to equip youth with necessary skills and offer them opportunities, outlining the ongoing efforts to reform systems over the past nine years. Reddy stressed that the forthcoming 25 years, referred to as ‘Amrita Kalam,’ held pivotal importance for India. He called on the youth to shed limiting beliefs and embrace a strong sense of nationalism.
Acknowledging the efforts of the Central Government in providing employment opportunities and imparting globally recognized skills, Reddy highlighted that Modi’s approach was transforming job seekers into job providers.
He mentioned that the ‘Rozgar Mela,’ inaugurated by the Prime Minister on October 22, 2022, had already provided appointments to thousands of individuals each month, with the current event marking the eighth iteration.
Reddy proudly announced that more than 550,000 appointment letters had been distributed across all editions of the Rozgar Mela, with the ultimate target set to be achieved in due course.
He noted the shift from a time when recommendations were necessary for securing jobs to the present, where talent was the determining factor. Reddy also acknowledged the integration of advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the education system and the emphasis on ethics and creativity through NEP-2020.
Reddy expressed optimism that, with sustained effort, India could regain its status as a ‘Vishwaguru’ (world leader) within the next 25 years, and he called for cooperation in this collective endeavor. He extended his best wishes to the newly appointed candidates and their families.
