The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city has taken a leap in development in all sectors including education, health, industry and tourism, he noted.

Taking into consideration this factor, the state government in the past has sanctioned funds of Rs 2,774 crore for water supply scheme, Rs 500 crore for road works and Rs 200 crore for the repair of water channel at Paithan, he informed.

The Chief Minister further said that the government has worked to provide funds for basic facilities like water, electricity and roads to the people of Marathwada.
