Militant nabbed in Manipur

Imphal: The NIA has started a probe over the role of a militant to an ambush which led
to death of CO of 46 Assam Rifles on November 13, 2021.

Police said on Monday that Manipur Police and Assam Rifles personnel nabbed a cadre of the outfit MNPF (Manipur Naga Peoples’ Front) identified as Machukring Zamshim Shimray here on Saturday.

He was handed over to NIA to probe over the ambush which took place at Churachandpur
