Rabat: Morocco and France signed several agreements here on Tuesday to strengthen cultural cooperation, covering areas such as film, artificial intelligence, cultural heritage protection, and video game development.
The three-day working visit by French Culture Minister Rachida Dati ended with the signing of cultural cooperation agreements.
At a press conference after the signing of the agreement, Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid praised the cooperation and partnership between Rabat and Paris.
He emphasized the importance of consolidating the partnership between the private sectors of both countries, particularly in emerging fields such as the video game industry.
Dati said at the press conference that cultural relation is “a pillar at the base of a future” for France-Morocco relations and expressed France’s willingness to be a partner of Morocco in its international cultural strategy.
