Mumbai: The Mumbai Police has summoned the Editor-in-Chief of the Republic TV Network for questioning yet again.
Arnab Goswami has been summoned at the Pydhonie Police station on June 10, 2020 and is to meet with police inspector Suresh Gaikwad.
The police inspector who had interrogated Arnab Goswami last time had tested positive for COVID-19.
This is not the first time the Mumbai Police has summoned Arnab Goswami. During the previous interrogation, the Republic Editor-in-Chief was questioned for 12-hours.
Mumbai Police is acting on a complaint filed by Congress leaders over Arnab Goswami’s statement of referring to Congress president Sonia Gandhi in a maiden name Antonia Maino.
Interestingly, no one from the Sonia Gandhi (Antonia Maino) family has filed a complaint against Arnab Goswami or Republic TV but low-level Congress workers.
