Navagraha idols vandalised at Hanuman temple in Shamshabad area; locals demand strict action

Hyderabad: Amid lingering concerns over the recent Muthyalamma Temple incident in Secunderabad, the Navagraha idols at the Hanuman Temple in the Airport Colony of Shamshabad were found vandalised by unidentified miscreants.

The incident came to light around 0600 hours on Tuesday when the temple priest and devotees arrived at the temple and discovered the desecration. Upon being informed, police arrived at the scene, registered a case, and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Local residents gathered at the temple, protesting and demanding strict action against those responsible. In response, police deployed additional security around the temple.
