Naveen approves 429 road projects for residential colonies

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday approved 429 road development projects for the residential colonies in Bhubaneswar, Balianta and Jatni blocks.

Chief Minister’s office sources said a sum of Rs 39.25 lakh would be spent for implementation of these projects .

Patnaik directed the officials to complete the projects within three months.

The people of the areas have submitted their problems and requested the 5T Secretary to solve

them during his visit on August 23 last.

Out of the 429 projects 140 are in Bhubaneswar block,246 in Jatni block and 43 in Balianta block.

In these blocks road construction, improvement and electrification work would be done.

More than three lakh people would be benefitted in these projects, official sources said.
