NCP holds demo against Baba Ramdev in Mumbai

Mumbai: Activists of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Mumbai Divisional Office on Saturday held a demonstration against Yoga guru Baba Ramdev in front of the party office in protest against his statement on women.

The demonstration was held under the leadership of Mumbai working president Narendra Rane, working president Rakhi Jadhav.

During the demonstration, they raised slogans against Baba Ramdev like ‘What to do with Baba Ramdev, Head down, Feet up, Ramdev Baba Hi, among others and hit his photographs with chapples and shoes and condemned his statement.

NCP National Spokesperson Clyde Crasto, State Spokesperson Sanjay Tatkare, party Mumbai Women President Surekhatai Pednekar, South Mumbai District President Mahendra Pansare are among others who took part in the demonstration.

NCP workers also participated in large numbers.
