New look Media Centre, Corporate Box at Eden

Kolkata: Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will sport a new look when the IPL gets underway as a completely renovated press box and media centre of international standards will be available, along with the aesthetically upgraded corporate boxes.

The swanky-looking, fully equipped, state-of-the-art media centre and press box will be open for the media from this IPL onwards.

Rebuilt to match the best in the world, the 3000 plus sqft media centre is a thing of beauty, fitted with modern gadgets, vitrified marble tiles and textured walls to please the eye while being ready for work.

The Press Box has also got a liberal facelift. With crystal clear tempered glass making the front view, ergonomic fully revolving chairs, a panelled desk, a carpeted floor, and decorated pillars with channel lights give it a luxurious look. While seven led TV sets, inbuilt wifi and a fully working media station below make it a joy to work.

A total of 15 corporate boxes, seven on L Block and 8 on B Block, have been redone with cozy sitting arrangements and other facilities. The look and feel of the boxes give that classy vibe of being pampered that one wants when one buys a hospitality box.

This apart from the Boxes in the club house are also being upgraded.

Other upgrades and reconstruction would be done to make the Club House look really international, classy and posh. This includes a complete overhauling of the lobby area and players’ dressing room among other things.
