New Delhi: Five days ahead of seeking a trust vote in the Bihar Assembly, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.

This was the first meeting between the two leaders after Kumar ditched the Grand Alliance to return to the NDA in Bihar on January 28.

Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, both from the BJP, called on the PM on Monday.

Kumar is scheduled to seek a trust vote in the Bihar Assembly on February 12, as per Governor Rajendra Arlekar’s directive.
