One more COVID-19 case in Goa takes tally to eight

Panjim: Following the seven positive COVID-19 cases in the state yesterday, another positive COVID-19 case has been reported in Goa today.

One seafarer tested positive. He arrived from Mumbai today after completing 14-days quarantine. 

The rapid testing found him positive for COVID-19. Samples have been sent to the Goa Medical College (GMC) Virology for confirmatory tests. Results are awaited.

Interestingly he tested negative wen he landed in Mumbai on April 30th. He arrived in Goa by taking a taxi from Mumbai.
