Washington: During his first two months as US President, Donald Trump has faced more than 150 lawsuits challenging the legality of his administration’s actions, according to a Bloomberg review.
US judges have often ruled against the White House position, and in some cases have suggested that the president might have exceeded his authority by acting without congressional approval, the agency said.
Most of the lawsuits are related to the tightening of immigration policies, including the ban on birthright citizenship. Large-scale dismissals of government employees are also being challenged, the publication recalled.
