Pak drone spotted near LoC, BSF opens fire

Jammu: Alert troops of Border Security Force fired a few rounds as they spotted a suspected drone close to the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said that the BSF troops late Tuesday spotted suspected drone activity from across the LoC in Khanetar garrison area.

The BSF troops fired a few rounds towards the drone, they said and added that the area was cordoned and a search operation was launched on Wednesday morning to sanitise the area.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police recently announced a cash reward of Rs 3 lakh to any person sharing information on drone entering the Indian Territory for any kind of air dropping.
