PM transformed Indian Railways in past 9 years : Ashwini Vaishnaw

Hyderabad: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the Indian Railways during the past nine years.

Speaking at a public function at Parade ground here, the Minister said that under the leadership of Modi, Railways is witnessing all round development with world class stations, trains and fast progress in completion of new lines, doubling and electrification projects.

The Government is striving its best towards strengthening Rail network in Telangana, he added.

Earlier, Vaishnaw was present at the Secunderabad Railway station when Prime Minister flagged off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express.
