Prez, PM, Odisha CM greet people of Odisha on Utkal Divas

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Utkal Divas

Taking to twitter, President Droupadi Murmu said, “My greetings to fellow citizens, especially to the people of the State, on Odisha Day”

“ With abundant natural resources, skilled and industrious people, Odisha has the potential to be the growth engine of our economy,” the President said while wishing the people of the state a bright future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet said, “On the special occasion of Utkala Dibasa, best wishes to the people of Odisha.”

“ Odia people are making landmark contributions to India’s progress and Odia culture is globally admired. I pray for Odisha’s development in the times to come,” Modi said.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also extended his best wishes to the people of the state.

Taking to twitter, Patnaik said, “My greetings to all on Odisha Divas. I pay my respects to the great sons of the soil for their immense contribution towards formation of separate Odisha province.”

The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to protect the pride and glory of Odisha and be committed to making a new Odisha, an ambitious Odisha.
