New Delhi: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will kick off party’s campaign for the upcoming Assembly polls in MP from Jabalpur on June 12, the party said on Saturday.

Vadra will address a public meeting in Jabalpur, as per the itinerary shared by the Congress.

Last month, Congress reviewed the party’s preparedness for the upcoming Assembly polls.

A meeting was convened by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge with the party’s Madhya Pradesh (MP) unit, in the presence of top party leaders- Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal, and state chief and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, at the party headquarters here, wherein they had deliberated about the party’s preparations for the polls, likely to be held later this year.

The party had exuded confidence that it will win 150 Assembly seats out of 230 in MP.
