Punjab police arrest 4 shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang

On Monday, 22nd May, four shooters of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang were arrested by the Punjab police in Chandigarh. Six pistols and 26 cartridges have been seized from them as well. The arrests were made by the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of the Punjab police.

Taking to Twitter, Director General, Punjab police, Gaurav Yadav, said, “In a major breakthrough, AGTF arrested 4 shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. 6 pistols and 26 live cartridges recovered from the accused”.

“The arrested accused have a criminal history with a number of criminal cases registered against them in Punjab and Haryana. FIR has been registered. The shooters were tasked to harm their rival gang members. More revelations are expected during the course of investigation. Punjab police is fully committed to destroy the criminals’ network as per directions of CM Bhagwant Mann”, DGP Yadav added further.

The arrested have been identified as Mehfooz alias Vishal Khan, Manjeet Singh alias Guri, Ankit, and Goldy.
