Singh said,” The world’s outlook towards India has changed in eight years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Those who lead the country once used to release pigeons, now the time has come to release leopards. The country has a culture of bravery and dedication. The army of the country is of Dharma and Karma. The contribution of Himachal in the defence of the country is exemplary”.

The Defence Minister said we didn’t need any weapons to win. Victory can also be achieved through scriptures. It is also necessary to take up arms for your self esteem.

He said,” The people of India walk on the path of peace. India will become the World Guru and the world will walk on the path of peace”.

Remembering many sacrifices of Himachal brave soldiers including Major Somnath Sharma, Captain Bikram Batra, he said that their sacrifices had proved that Indian jawans were not lagging behind to safeguard their nation borders from enemies.
