West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has levied allegations of being hand in glove against the BJP and the left parties. She said that the BJP’s ideology divides the people on the basis of religion, and added that the BJP and the left parties are in a collusion, and that in West Bengal, Ram and the left have become one. Mamata, in a TMC party meeting, told her workers that they should fight against the rumours spread against the TMC by the opposition groups.

In the meanwhile, BJP President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are indulged in the preparations for the 2024 general elections, and this month, both of them will organize rallies in West Bengal. Shah will be in Mathurapur and Aarambag on 17th January, prior to which Nadda will organize rallies. Both of them will carry out 24 rallies on the seats which could not be won by the BJP back in 2019. The party was able to win 11 out of 24 seats in South Bengal and 7 out of 8 in North Bengal.
