RLDA invites bids for leasing of railway land at Dharmavaram In AP

Dharmavaram: Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority of Indian Railways, has invited bids for grant of lease for Commercial Development of a vacant land parcel located in Dharmavaram along the Station Road in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh.

The proposed land parcel with an approximate area of 3.5 acre

(14,164.50 Sqmt)will be leased out for 45 years and the reserve price of the land is Rs 9.10 Crore. The Built-Up Area (BUA) offered is 26,770.91 Sqmt, RLDA said in a media statement on Friday.

Dharmavaram is the gateway for pilgrim traffic visiting the famous

Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam at Puttaparthi, around 40 km away.

The land parcel is situated on Station Road, adjacent to the

Chennai-Anantapur Highway (NH-716), ensuring accessibility from all parts of the city.

It is connected to Dharmavaram Railway Station, which falls under the South Central Railway Zone, by a 15-meter-wide road. The site falls under the Ananthapuramu Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) jurisdiction.

Well connected with close-by APSRTC Bus Stand of Dharmavaram and also the nearest airports area at Bengaluru (159km) & Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh (153km).

This land has a mixed-use location & embeds a prime real estate

investment opportunity. Sharing his insights, Shri Manoj Garg, Vice

Chairman, Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) said,

“Dharmavaram known as the “Silk City of Andhra Pradesh”, is celebrated for its cotton and silk weaving industries. We are proposing to lease a strategically located land parcel near the Dharmavaram Railway Station, the main transit point for the Sri Sathya Sai district. Dharmavaram, being a major train junction in Andhra Pradesh, the location of this site abutting the station area holds benefits from excellent connectivity, presenting significant development opportunities.”

­Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is a statutory authority under

the Ministry of Railways for the development of Railway land. It has

four key mandates as a part of its development plan, namely leasing

commercial sites, colony redevelopment, station redevelopment and

multi-functional complexes.
