SBC Mumbai, welcomes delegates from Bhutan for specialised training programme

Mumbai: School of Broadcasting and Communication (SBC), a renowned institution for media education, extended a warm welcome to a distinguished delegation from the Bhutan Broadcasting Corporation Ltd. The delegation participated in an exclusive training programme organised by SBC, aimed at enhancing their expertise in the field of broadcasting and communication.

The training programme, which commenced on August 14, 2023, and concluded on August 25, 2023, took place within the dynamic environment of SBC’s campus.

Under the guidance of Tushir Choudhary, Director of SBC, the programme promised to equip the Bhutan Broadcasting Corporation executives with advanced skills and insights crucial for excelling in the media industry.

Renowned industry professionals were enlisted as course mentors for this programme.guaranteeing a comprehensive and practical learning experience.

Notable mentors included Noel Keymar, Mrityunjay Bose, Sonali Naphade, Kanchan Chaudhary, Chhavi Gaur, Aastha Puri, Umair Khan, and Nimisha Sirohi.

With their wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, these mentors imparted invaluable insights and industry best practices to the delegates.

“We are honoured to have hosted the executives from Bhutan Broadcasting Corporation Ltd. for this specialised training programme,” expressed Tushir Choudhary.

“SBC is dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering industry partnerships, and we believe this collaboration has led to mutually beneficial outcomes, enhancing the broadcasting landscape in both Bhutan and India,” Choudhary added.

The training programme’s curriculum encompassed a diverse range of topics, including Modern broadcasting techniques, content creation, audience engagement strategies, and technological advancements shaping the industry. Through a mix of workshops,Through interactive sessions and practical assignments, the delegates gained a holistic understanding of the evolving media landscape.
