Sharad Pawar condoles death of Sharad Yadav

Mumbai: NCP national president and Rajya Sabha MP Sharad Pawar on Friday expressed grief over the death of Union Janata Dal leader, former Union Minister Sharad Yadav who passed away in Gurugram.

In his tweet Pawar stated that, the demise of former JDU president, former union minister and senior socialist leader Yadav is an irreparable loss to Indian politics.

Heartfelt condolence to his family and his followers on his passing away. May his soul rest in peace tweeted Pawar.

Yadav passed away in Gurugram on Thursday, he was 75 years old.

Yadav was elected seven times to the Lok Sabha and three times to the Rajya Sabha as an MP. He also performed impressively as a Union Minister.

Sharad Yadav was expelled from the JDU in 2016 for anti-party activities, after which he formed Loktantrik Janata Dal in 2018.
